Frequently Asked Questions
Isn't this just another air freshener?
Isn't this just another air freshener?
No. Air fresheners spray perfume into the air. FreshMist turns its odour-neutralising refill into an ultra-fine mist that settles into the fabric, where smells actually sit. For heavy accidents soaked into a mattress or carpet, blot and clean the spot first, then mist.
Is it safe around my pets and kids?
Is it safe around my pets and kids?
Mist when pets and children are out of the room, let the fabric settle and dry, then let them back in. Never spray directly at people, pets or food, and keep refills out of reach of children.
Will it wet or stain my sofa?
Will it wet or stain my sofa?
It is a fine mist, not a jet. Hold it 20-30 cm away and keep it moving so nothing gets soaked. As with any fabric product, patch-test delicate or unusual fabrics on a hidden spot first.
What is the blue light for?
What is the blue light for?
It lights up the mist so you can see exactly where it lands, even in dark corners and car footwells. It is a guide light, nothing more.
How long does a refill last?
How long does a refill last?
It depends on how much you mist, but one refill covers plenty of sessions on sofas, beds and car seats. When you run low, refills are available here in Malta: 1 for €14.99, 2 + 1 FREE or 3 + 2 FREE.
Can I use my own liquid in it?
Can I use my own liquid in it?
Use FreshMist refills. Thick liquids and oils can clog the nozzle and stop the mist working properly.
How do I keep it working well?

After use, run a little clean water through it for about 30 seconds so the nozzle stays clear. If anything goes wrong, message us on WhatsApp and we will sort it out locally.
